Rockstar has confirmed that the sixth game in the Grand Theft Auto series will be released in 2025. This highly anticipated game will take players back to the Miami-inspired location of Vice City, where they will meet Lucia, the first female protagonist, and an unnamed male lead character. The game's first trailer was supposed to be revealed on Tuesday, but it was leaked online, prompting the company to release it on Monday night. The trailer showcases the various areas of Vice City, hinting at the vast exploration opportunities for players. Grand Theft Auto VI is said to be the biggest and most immersive game in the series, with reports suggesting that around one billion dollars has been spent on its development. Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar, expressed excitement about pushing the boundaries of immersive, story-driven, open-world experiences with this new game. Rumors and speculation about the game have been circulating online for years, as it has been a decade since the last installment was released. Despite this, Grand Theft Auto V remains one of the most popular titles, having sold over 190 million copies worldwide and being the second best-selling video game of all time, after Minecraft.
